A fabulous antique Victorian snake ring modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold and set with red Ruby eyes and crowned with a beautiful natural Opal which is approx. 0.90ct.
Serpent jewellery was popular in Victorian times and represented love, loyalty and friendship. The depiction of a snake swallowing its tail was also a symbol of eternal love.
The lovely Opal is a kaleidoscope of rainbow colours shimmering and changing colours with the light. It radiates blues, pinks, greens and an inner orange.
The ring is truly special and looks wonderful coiled around the finger.
